The French Automaker Renault is trying to enter in the market of Pakistan for quite some time and before this they tried to negotiate with other local companies. But their talk eventually failed midway.
Through a UAE Businessman Majid Al Futtaim the Renault signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for Assembly Production Plant in Pakistan. Both the companies are willing to establish plant in Karachi at Industrial area and committed to produce as may as 50000 Duster SUV vehicles a year. And by Storm the Duster SUV will take local Pakistani Car manufacturing.
