France and China Launching Satellite to Study Oceans in 2018


France and China space agencies are unveiled their first joint Satellite which will be used to improve forecasting of ocean storms and cyclones.

The satellite named CFOSAT is due to be launching next year by China and will primarily be used to study the wind & ocean waves patterns.

It will be used to improve forecasts of strong storms, cyclones and waves for all coastal activities. A French scientist working on the project told media agencies. 

The satellite will placed into Earth orbi in the second half of 2018. Through a rocket of China. The project is scheduled to last three years.
