The unexpected move taken by Pak Suzuki Motor company has increased the prices of its vehicles Wagon R and Suzuki Mehran.
The prices are increased upto Rs. 50000/- which are effective from March 1st 2018. So the automakers has revised rates upwards second time this year alone.
02 Months ago, the company raised prices in the price rage of Rs. 10000/- to Rs. 20000/-
Both the above mentioned cars the Mehran VX and VXR, now get costlier by Rupess 20000/-.
The price of Mehran VX has gone up from Rs. 689,000 to Rs. 709,000/- while Mehran's VXR price increased from Rs. 742000/- to Rs. 762000/-
The auto maters have dependence on imported raw material and parts that become expensive due to fall in the rupees value against major international currencies specially dollar.
However, the same industry have positioned very well compared to other industries in Pakistan.\
due to rising sales of automobiles experts says that Pak Suzuki feels confident to raise prices at will without affecting their profit.
On the other hand Honda also increased the prices.
